Our Pledge to Your Stay

• The Food we Serve:
  We raise our own chickens and serve our own eggs. We use organic chicken feed and our chickens run freely. (Be sure to check our rooster Ziggy Stardust our David Bowie look alike). We sell our excess eggs to our neighbors and community.

  We raise many of our own vegetables, including a large garden of heirloom tomatoes. Our vegetables are grown organically, getting nutrients from our compost.

  The meat we serve, including our morning bacon, is from organic butchers.

• Recycling:
  We recycle all plastic and glass containers. We use our own recycled leaves for mulch. We organize and run a community yard sale which all the local inns participate in. The profits from these recycled goods are given to charity.
• Conservation:
  We conserve water by not replacing sheets everyday. We make our own organic soaps. You should feel free to take these soaps with you when you leave. We use refillable shampoos and conditioners rather than single use containers.
